The Battle of Ryloth or the Ryloth campaign is a conflict during the Clone Wars between Grand Army of the Republic and the Free Ryloth movement allies against the forces of the Confederacy of Independent Systems. The battle resulted to the liberation of the planet Ryloth from the hands of the separatists shortly after the retaking of Lessu, one of the two capital cities of Ryloth.

Shortly after the Confederacy’s blockade of the planet, they attacked the Republican Garrison under the command of Jedi General Ima-Gun Di. Although they were assisted by the Twi’lek resistance force, failure of the Jedi Council to sent reinforcements resulted to the fall of the garrison, opening the way to a full scale invasion of Ryloth.

The Jedi Council then sent Jedi General Skywalker to break the blockade and open the space for the Republic Army to retake the planet. The Jedi forces under the command of General Kenobi landed at Nabat were they slowly broke the outer defenses of the city before retaking it.

Jedi Genereal Windu led the retaking of the capital city of Lessu and after the battle the planet Ryloth was freed.

The song “The Hammer of Ryloth” pertains to the said conflict.

The demigods of the Camp Half Blood initally failed to stop the push of Kronos’ force led by the titan father Typhon who was later defeated by the combined forces of the Greek gods.
